Pool repair near Lake Forest, Round Rock, TX

Lake Forest is under a mile from our shop and shares streets with Sonoma. If your pump has gotten loud or your heater has quit, we're minutes away.

HARD WATER AND WHAT IT DOES

What Lake Forest pools are up against

Round Rock water averages about 249 parts per million, roughly 14.5 grains per gallon, ranging from 176 to 338 through the year. Add the tree cover around the lake and you get two problems working at once.

Lime from two directions

Round Rock water is hard and the Eddy soil under you is chalky, so calcium comes at the pool from the tap and the yard both. Water care.

Pumps across twenty years

Lake Forest built out from 2001 to 2020, so two pools three streets apart can need completely different things. Pool pump repair.

Trees around the water

The lake trees drop through winter and into spring, and the pools closest to the water get most of it. Filter cleaning.

LAKE FOREST, 78665

The neighborhood between Bradford Park and the lake

Lake Forest went in between 2001 and 2020, so the pools here run from about twenty five years old down to almost new. Sonoma Lake sits right at the edge, Lake Forest Park is half a mile in, and the Sonoma sections run straight into it. It's all Williamson County, and that age range means the pool two doors down often needs something different from yours.

Because the build spread over twenty years, two pools three streets apart can need completely different things. One is on its second pump. The other has never had anything replaced.

The eastern edge, more open and more exposed to wind off the corridor.

The 2001 to 2008 sections

SALT CONVERSION

THE GROUND UNDER LAKE FOREST

Why the ground along Dyer Branch matters

Lake Forest sits on Eddy soil, thin and chalky over limestone, about 32 percent clay. It's steady ground that doesn't shift much through the year, so equipment pads here stay level.

Runoff is moderate. What the water does bring is lime, and the soil is full of it too, so calcium is the constant here rather than movement.

QUESTIONS

Lake Forest pool questions

How quickly can you get to Lake Forest?
We're under a mile away at Forest Creek Drive and Red Bud Lane, so usually about five minutes. Check the calendar for what's open, we often have same-day availability, or text us if that's your preference. We text again when we're on the way.
Do you work on both the older and newer Lake Forest pools?
Yes. Lake Forest went in between 2001 and 2020, so pools here run from about twenty five years old to nearly new. We repair both old and newer equipment every week.
How does the water here affect my equipment?
Round Rock water averages about 249 parts per million, roughly 14.5 grains per gallon. That lime builds up on salt cell blades and shortens their life, and it's hard on heaters too. The Eddy soil here's chalky and full of lime as well.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so. We're around the lake most weeks, so a second look is easy.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page.

We're around Lake Forest most weeks anyway.
