Pool repair near The Plantation, Round Rock, TX

The Plantation has some of the oldest pools on the west side, and old pools are most of what we do. We're on the Sam Bass corridor every week.

HARD WATER AND WHAT IT DOES

What Plantation pools are up against

The Plantation is on City of Round Rock water, averaging about 249 parts per million or roughly 14.5 grains per gallon. On equipment this age, keeping up with that's the whole game.

Equipment on its third go-round

Platted from 1996, so most pads here have been rebuilt more than once. Knowing what you actually have is half the job. Equipment diagnostics.

Chemistry on an older surface

Older plaster is less forgiving about drift, and it shows there first. Staying ahead of it costs less than fixing it. Water care.

Rock under everything

Eckrant over limestone means the ground barely moves, so your pad stays level. It also means anything needing a dig is a fight. Pool plumbing repair.

The neighborhood off Sam Bass Road

The Plantation was platted between 1996 and 2003. That makes these some of the oldest pools we look after anywhere. Wood Glen runs alongside it and went in over the same stretch. Both are Williamson County, and we work the two together.

At that age almost nothing on the pad is original. Most of these pools are on a second or third pump. The salt cell has been replaced more than once, and the plumbing has usually been opened up at least once.

The oldest pools on our west-side route. Second and third pumps are normal here.

Along Wood Glen Drive

The spine of the neighborhood, running past the tennis court and amenity center.

That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.

THE GROUND UNDER THE PLANTATION

Why the ground along Brushy Bend Park matters

The Plantation sits on Eckrant soil, about 42 percent clay, shallow over limestone. There's rock in every yard out here. The upside is that it doesn't move much.

Runoff is moderate, so the pads stay level and the real work is what the water leaves behind rather than what the ground does.

HOW WE GET TO YOU

Swimming pool repair in The Plantation, Round Rock

We're about six miles away, over at Forest Creek Drive and Red Bud Lane, which is usually a quarter of an hour. We come across on Old Settlers Boulevard rather than I-35, which keeps the drive honest at rush hour.

Sam Bass Road and West Old Settlers Boulevard meet just under a mile from the neighborhood, and that intersection is how we reach most of west Round Rock. Wood Glen Drive runs through the middle, the Wood Glen Community Tennis Court and Woodglen Amenity Center are a third of a mile out, and Hairy Man Road is under a mile.

Behrens Ranch Field, Walsh Park and Rock Creek Plaza are all inside a mile and a half, and we're through this corridor every week.

WHO SHOWS UP

Licensed, insured, and in Round Rock every week

True Flow is a veteran owned, family run pool company based right here in Round Rock, not a franchise with a call center in another state. We're licensed in Texas for residential appliance installation, which is what covers pool equipment electrical work, and we carry insurance on every job. The Plantation is about fifteen minutes out, and we're on that corridor every week.

The other thing worth knowing is that we answer. Text us or call and you get a person, not a queue and not a form that disappears. We're at it Monday through Friday, 8 to 8, and we read every message that comes in, so if something is wrong with your pool the fastest thing you can do is send us a note about it. Photos help, but they're not required.

Book an on-site diagnostic in The Plantation

This books our $149 on-site diagnostic, the visit we start with for any equipment problem. Half is due when you book, and it comes off the repair if you go ahead. Looking for weekly cleaning or something else? See all pool services.

QUESTIONS

The Plantation pool questions

How quickly can you get to The Plantation?
About fifteen minutes from our shop, and we're on the Sam Bass corridor every week for the neighborhoods around you. Check the calendar for what's open, we often have same-day availability, or text us if that's your preference. We text again when we're on the way.
My pool is from the late nineties. Do you work on equipment that old?
Every week. The Plantation was platted between 1996 and 2003, so nearly every pool here's on a second or third pump and has had the salt cell replaced more than once. Older equipment is most of what we do.
How does the water here affect my equipment?
The Plantation is on City of Round Rock water, averaging about 249 parts per million or roughly 14.5 grains per gallon. That lime builds up on salt cell blades and shortens their life, and it's hard on heaters too.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page.

We're around The Plantation most weeks anyway.

Want us to swing by your pool? Text us your address and what's going on. We'll figure out what it needs and what the fix costs. Then we make sure you're happy with it.
