The pools on the older Teravista streets are often still on tablets. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and with water this hard the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Across Teravista we see three different soils and a 130 foot climb, from about 760 feet at the bottom to 890 at the top. Clay content runs from 44 to 54 percent depending where you're, and runoff ranges from moderate to very high.
Practically, that means the same symptom can have two different causes here. Cracked decking shows up on the low streets, where the clay moves most. Repairs up here often follow the ground, since the clay moves more at the bottom of the hill than the top, and that works on equipment pads and rigid plumbing. University Boulevard is the main way in and Teravista Golf Club sits about a mile from the center, with Meyer Park, Lakeside Community Park and The Commons at Teravista spread around it.
