Pool repair near the Estates at Settlers Park, Round Rock, TX

The Estates back straight onto Old Settlers Park, close enough to walk to the tennis courts. Two and a half miles from our shop, and one of the easier runs we make.

HARD WATER, MIXED AGES

What Settlers Park pools are up against

Round Rock water at about 14.5 grains per gallon is the constant. What changes street to street here's how old the equipment fighting it happens to be.

Heaters crust up

Hard water is tough on heaters. When yours throws a code, we read what it's actually telling us, then repair or replace what's needed once you've said go. Pool heater repair.

Filters ahead of schedule

Filter cleaning is the service this neighborhood asks for most. Hard water plus park-side debris means the manual schedule is optimistic here. Filter cleaning and filter repair.

Pumps on the older streets

On the 2002 to 2008 sections a lot of the original pumps have already been replaced. On the newer streets most are still original. Pool pump repair.

The neighborhood beside Old Settlers Park

The Estates at Settlers Park built out in stages between 2002 and 2022, which is a wide spread for one neighborhood. Some pools here are past twenty and some are barely three, and they need entirely different things. It's all Williamson County, and that spread in build years is why we price each pool on what it actually needs.

You're a tenth of a mile from the tennis courts and a short drive from the Multipurpose Complex, so this is a part of town we pass through constantly on the way to somewhere else.

EVERY PART OF THE ESTATES AT SETTLERS PARK

Pool cleaning service across the Estates at Settlers Park

What your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.

The park-side streets

Right against the park and the tennis courts. The most exposed lots and the most debris.

The 2002 to 2008 sections

The original phases, where the equipment has usually been through at least one full replacement.

The newer streets

Built out closer to 2022, where most of the pad is still the equipment that came with the house.

Along Old Settlers Boulevard

The southern edge and our usual way in, connecting back toward A W Grimes Boulevard.

SALT CONVERSION

Switching to salt, starting at $2,200

The 2002 to 2008 sections still have a lot of tablet pools. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and with water this hard the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Text us and we'll come out and look at your setup. That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.

THE GROUND UNDER ESTATES AT SETTLERS PARK

Why the ground along Brushy Creek matters to your pool

The Estates sit on chalky, lime-heavy ground at about a third clay, around 725 feet, with moderate runoff. It's steady ground, without the seasonal movement you get on the heavy black clay further east.

That means fewer cracked decks and shifted equipment pads than a few miles away. The lime is still there though, in the ground and in the water, so scale on tile and inside equipment is the thing to stay ahead of. Water care handles the chemistry side.

HOW WE GET TO YOU

Swimming pool repair in the Estates at Settlers Park

The Estates sit about three miles from the shop, roughly six minutes. Old Settlers Park is directly next door, close enough that the tennis courts are a tenth of a mile from the edge of the neighborhood.

A W Grimes Boulevard and Old Settlers Boulevard are the two ways in, and both connect straight back toward Highway 79 and our end of town. The Apex Soccer Fields and the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex are a few hundred yards out, with Dell Diamond just beyond.

Living beside a park that size means the neighborhood gets more foot traffic and more windblown debris than an enclosed subdivision does, and pools here show it. Dell Diamond and Kalahari Resorts sit on the far side of the park, and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail runs west toward Gattis School Road.

QUESTIONS

Estates at Settlers Park pool questions

Do you service the Estates at Settlers Park?
Yes. It's about two and a half miles from our shop and we're through this part of Round Rock every week. Check the calendar for what's open, we often have same-day availability, or text us if that's your preference.
How does the water out here affect my pool equipment?
Round Rock water is hard. That lime builds up on salt cell blades and shortens their life, and it's hard on heaters too.
Why does my filter need cleaning so often?
Two reasons here. Hard water leaves mineral deposits that make a filter work harder, and backing onto a big open park means more windblown debris than an enclosed lot gets. Cleaning on schedule keeps the rest of the equipment running easy.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page. Same prices in the Estates as everywhere else we go.

We're by Settlers Park most weeks anyway.
