Your spa and your pool run off the same pump, the same filter, and the same heater. So when the spa goes cold or the jets get weak, it's usually the system talking. Spa heater repair and spa valve and circulation repair are the two we see most. We work out which one it's, and we tell you plainly.
A cold spa is a genuinely annoying thing to live with, and we know it. Reach out and we'll get you on the calendar, sometimes the same day when the route allows.
Or call (737) 259-7379
If your spa's gone cold, you've probably wondered whether to call a pool company or a hot tub company. Here's the honest answer, and it's good news.
An in-ground spa shares the pool's equipment pad: same pump, same filter, same heater. Valves decide which one gets the water. If yours spills over into the pool, or you flip it to spa mode to use it, you're in the right place. Combos like that are most of what we work on.
A pair of valves on the pad decides whether the water goes to the pool or the spa. They're what puts your spa in spa mode, what sends it heat, and what holds the spillover. When they stop doing that cleanly, we repair the valves and the circulation around them.
Because the spa runs off the pool's equipment, we look at the whole pad while we're there, not just the piece you called about. A cold spa or soft jets can start in more than one place, so that's the sensible place to start looking.
Text a photo of your equipment pad to (737) 259-7379 and we'll tell you what you're looking at. We take on spas that share the pool's equipment, which is most of them around here. A few jobs sit outside what we do, hot tubs running on their own separate equipment among them, and we'll still help you work out the next step.
Spa repair starts with a $149 Repair Diagnostic. We send a technician to your home to diagnose the problem and give you a clear answer before any repair begins. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover that visit. If you approve the repair, it comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic is free. If you don't move forward, we charge the remaining $74.50.
We won't put a repair price on your spa before we've seen it. Two spas with the same symptom can need very different work, and one could involve a part that's already on the truck while the other needs something ordered. You'll get the real number after we look, and nothing gets touched until you say go.
Parts, repair labor, replacement equipment, and follow-up work are quoted separately when they apply, and only move forward with your approval.
Because the spa shares the pad, we check the pad. That's how a symptom in the spa turns into an answer you can act on.
Whether it's firing, whether it holds, and what it's reporting when it stops. Most pads around here run a Pentair, Hayward, or Raypak heater.
Whether they turn, whether they seat properly, and whether they hold position. Jandy and Pentair actuators are the two we see most on Round Rock pads.
Where the water's actually going, which isn't always where the controls say it's.
Whether the spa's actually getting the flow it needs, or something upstream is choking it.
Pump, filter, and controls, because every one of them feeds both bodies of water. That includes automation panels like Jandy iAquaLink and Pentair EasyTouch.
What we found, what we'd do about it, and an estimate when parts or labor are needed.
Most spa calls we take in Round Rock land in one of these four. See which one sounds like yours.
Pick a day online, or send a photo of the pad and we'll help you sort out what you need.
Heater, valves, flow, and controls, on the pool side and the spa side both.
In plain words, with an estimate if parts or labor are needed. No jargon, no pressure.
Nothing happens until you say so, and your $74.50 comes off the bill when it does.
A spa is a small body of much hotter water hanging off a big one, so it swings faster than the pool does and it shows first. Cloudy spa water while the pool still looks fine is a normal way for this to start. Our weekly service covers both: water chemistry, surfaces, debris, and an eye on how the system's running, so the small things stay small. It's $249 a month.
Round Rock water runs about 249 parts per million, roughly 14.5 grains per gallon, mostly out of Lake Georgetown, according to the city's own 2023 water quality report. That hardness concentrates faster in a spa than anywhere else on your property, because the water is hotter and there's a lot less of it. Staying on top of the chemistry is most of the work, and it's the part that's easiest to hand off.
If you'd rather keep cleaning it yourself, our water chemistry service handles just the testing and dosing.
"The True Flow Pool team provided excellent, responsive service when we were in a pinch. We had our spa valves randomly turning on in the middle of the night and about ready to go on vacation. They worked with us and troubleshooted the issue quickly, got parts and repaired it ahead of schedule. Most importantly, when there was follow up needed to troubleshoot further they were there ready to help immediately. I highly recommend them for your next repair need!"
