Swimming Pool Repair Service in Liberty Hill, TX

New pool you didn't ask for, and nobody left a manual? Most of Liberty Hill's pools went in within the last few years, so the commonest call we get here isn't a breakdown. It's someone who wants to understand what they're looking at.

LIBERTY HILL, TX

What usually goes wrong with a Liberty Hill pool

You're probably here because something on a fairly new pool has already quit. New equipment fails differently from old equipment. Here's what we actually get called out for here.

  • The automation panel was never really set up at handover, so nothing runs when it should.
  • The salt system reads low on a cell that's barely a year old.
  • The heater throws a code nobody can read, and the manual went with the builder.
  • You've been handed a pool with a full equipment pad and no idea which thing does what.

That list is short for a reason, and the reason is how new everything is. Liberty Hill is the newest city we serve.

Fewer than twenty of its neighborhoods were platted in the entire 1990s, against more than eighty since 2020. That changes what breaks and why. It's Williamson County, out on the far west edge of where we run.

Text us a photo of what you're seeing. If it's something simple, we'll tell you straight away. If it needs a proper look, we'll tell you that too, and what it'll cost.

AROUND THE INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE PARK

Why Liberty Hill pool owners near the International Sculpture Park call us

In 1976 Liberty Hill hosted an international sculpture symposium and twenty-five sculptors from six countries came and carved. The pieces they left are still here, now at Lions Foundation Park, and they're the most unusual thing in any town we serve.

It sits close to the middle of our Liberty Hill route. From there we're a short run to Liberty Hill City Park and Veterans' Park, out Ranch Road 1869 toward Sundance and Clearwater Ranch, or east on Highway 29 through Stonewall Ranch and Liberty Parke toward the 183A corridor.

We mention the sculpture park partly because it's the one landmark everyone here can place, and partly because it makes a point about the town. Liberty Hill has been small for a long time and got big very quickly. Most of the pools arrived in the second part of that story.

We're based near the intersection at Red Bud Lane and Forest Creek Dr in Round Rock. Liberty Hill is about thirty-one miles northwest, roughly thirty-eight minutes, which makes it one of the longer runs on our week and one we plan properly rather than squeeze in.

There are two ways and we pick by time of day. Highway 29 straight west out of Georgetown is the simple one. When Georgetown is busy we go SH-45 to 183A north and come in on Ranch Road 1869 instead, which is quieter and barely longer.

In town, Highway 29 and Main Street carry most of it. North US 183 runs up past the Estates at Northgate, and Ranch Road 1869 heads west toward the bigger lots at Sundance and Clearwater Ranch. Because it's a longer drive, we group Liberty Hill stops on the same day rather than making single trips, which is also why a day or two's notice gets you a better window here. Text us for same-day availability.

What we do

Swimming Pool Repair in Santa Rita Ranch, Summerlyn and across Liberty Hill

On new equipment we check the settings and the automation panel as carefully as the hardware. Sometimes it's a warranty part the manufacturer should replace rather than you paying us, and we'll say so. Where a repair is genuinely needed, most jobs start with a $149 Repair Diagnostic.

You pay $74.50 when you book to cover that visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. The one thing that does wear early here's a salt cell, because of what's in the water.

Santa Rita, Summerlyn or Stonewall Ranch, we'll explain what's happening in plain language and tell you honestly whether it needs paying for at all.

LOCAL CONDITIONS

What Liberty Hill water and ground do to your pool

Liberty Hill's water comes from two places, which is unusual and worth knowing if you dose your own chemicals. The city's own report says it buys treated surface water from the City of Leander, which comes from Lake Travis, and it also runs three of its own groundwater wells in the Trinity Hensell aquifer.

Lake water and well water aren't the same thing chemically, so what's in your pool depends partly on the mix reaching your street. The city doesn't publish a hardness figure, so we test yours instead. What we can tell you is that Leander's side of that supply tests at 194 parts per million, about 11.3 grains per gallon, which is hard enough to shorten a salt cell. We test your water rather than assume it.

The ground is Eckrant cobbly clay with bedrock often within a couple of feet of the surface, on slopes of one to eight percent. Equipment pads sit still here, unlike the deep black clay east of I-35, but anything that needs digging is a genuine job.

THROUGH THE YEAR

A Liberty Hill pool year, season by season

At 1,025 feet, the highest ground we cover, the season starts later and ends earlier than it does down the hill.

Spring. Everything arrives at once: pollen still falling, storms, and water warming on a filter that has been loaded for two months. Later here than in Round Rock, because of the elevation.

Summer. The short, good stretch. Hot days but noticeably cooler evenings than down the hill, which is exactly why a heater earns its keep in a Liberty Hill pool and not in a Taylor one.

Get the filter cleaned before it warms up, or text us and we'll tell you what your pool needs this month.

WHY LIBERTY HILL POOL OWNERS CHOOSE US

What a fifty-mile circle taught us about Liberty Hill pools

We could cover all of Central Texas. We cover a smaller area so we can know it properly, and in Liberty Hill that mostly shows up as patience.

Because we work here every week, we know most of these pools are three years old rather than thirty, and we take the time to check the settings and the warranty before we talk about parts. That's the kind of thing you only learn by being here every week.

Nothing gets done until you've seen the number and said yes. And if what your pool needs is a warranty part the manufacturer should be covering, we'll tell you, even if it means we don't get to do the work.

How We Got Started
COMMON QUESTIONS

Liberty Hill pool questions

How much does pool repair cost in Liberty Hill, TX?
The Repair Diagnostic is $149. We send a technician to your home to check out your equipment and tell you exactly what's wrong before we touch anything. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover that visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. If you decide not to move forward, we charge the remaining $74.50.
How much does pool cleaning cost in Liberty Hill, TX?
Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. One-time cleaning starts at $129. Green pool cleanup is $189. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. See the full pricing page for everything.
I've never owned a pool before. Where do I start?
Pool School. It's $189 for up to two hours at your own equipment, walking through how your system actually works, what the chemistry means and how to dose it. Most of Liberty Hill's pools are new and plenty of owners here inherited one with the house, so this is the most common thing we're asked for, not an unusual request.
Where does Liberty Hill's water come from?
Two places. The city's own report says it buys treated surface water from the City of Leander, which draws from Lake Travis, and it also operates three of its own groundwater wells in the Trinity Hensell aquifer. The city doesn't publish a hardness figure, so we test instead. Lake water and well water differ chemically, and the blend affects your pool. Leander's side of that supply tests at 194 parts per million, about 11.3 grains per gallon.
