The common thread is the water, and the range of pool ages it lands on. Leander is still being built, so we work on brand new pools and twenty year old ones on the same street. What they have in common is the water, and most of the calls we take here trace back to it one way or another. Leander spans Williamson County and a slice of Travis County, and we work both.

Text Us What's HappeningDevine Lake Park sits on the south side with its walking loop around the water, and a few minutes away is Old Town and the Leander station, the northern end of the whole CapMetro Red Line. No other suburb in this corridor has a rail line straight into Austin, which is a good part of why the city has grown the way it has.
That corner is the middle of our Leander route. From there we're close to Robin Bledsoe Park, Benbrook Ranch Park and the older Horizon Park and Vista Ridge streets, and a short run up Crystal Falls Parkway to the golf course and Grand Mesa. Bar W Ranch, Deerbrooke and the newer building sit north of that on Bagdad Road.
The reason it matters for your pool is that Leander's growth put a lot of very new equipment next to a lot of very old equipment, on identical water. The fixes are rarely the same.
We're based near the intersection at Red Bud Lane and Forest Creek Dr in Round Rock. SH-45 west then 183A north brings us into Leander in about twenty-eight minutes, and we take the toll road on purpose because it keeps us off I-35 entirely.
183A drops us at Whitestone Boulevard for the south end and Crystal Falls Parkway for the middle of the city. Bagdad Road runs north from there through Bar W Ranch and the newer sections, and Ranch Road 2243 and New Hope Drive cover the west side out toward Liberty Hill.
Traffic is simple here and mostly about the rail. Bell Boulevard and the streets around Leander station fill up around the morning and evening trains, and Whitestone backs up near the Cedar Park line at the same hours. Mid-morning is clear, which is when most of our Leander stops land.
The city's 2024 water quality report lists hardness at 194 parts per million, about 11.3 grains per gallon. For comparison, Cedar Park down the road reports 183. Both come out of Lake Travis; Leander's is the harder of the two and the hardest published figure of any lake system we service. Hard water doesn't break things overnight.
It wears on a heater so it works harder for less, coats a salt cell until the system stops producing properly, and leaves a line on the tile no amount of brushing removes. Leander's water comes from Lake Travis through the regional Brushy Creek plant, and the city's own 2024 report puts hardness at 194 parts per million, about 11.3 grains per gallon. That's the hardest published figure of any Lake Travis system we work on, harder than Cedar Park's 183, though still short of Round Rock's 240.
Leander's plant also treats water that Georgetown drinks and sells water to Liberty Hill, which is a useful thing to know if you've ever compared notes with someone in either town and found their chemistry behaving differently from yours.
The ground is Doss silty clay, shallow over limestone, so there's rock in every yard and digging anything is a job. The upside is that it barely moves. Equipment pads in Leander stay level, unlike the deep black clay out east.
At 977 feet with heavy juniper cover, the calendar here runs earlier and colder than most people plan for.
Summer. Long stretches above 100, and 194 ppm, about 11.3 grains per gallon water starting to mark the tile. Higher ground means the evenings cool off a little faster than they do down in Round Rock.
Winter. Cedar pollen starts around mid December and runs to early March, and on the higher ground north of Ronald Reagan it lands heavier and lingers longer. A filter that carries two months of it won't carry a spring as well.
