Pool repair near Oakcreek, Round Rock, TX

Oakcreek, The Oaklands and Park Valley Oaks sit together off RM 620 on some of the heaviest ground in Round Rock. That's the part that decides what your pool needs.

SOFTER WATER, DIFFERENT PROBLEMS

What Oakcreek pools are up against

Most homes here are on Brushy Creek MUD water, about 183 parts per million or roughly 10.7 grains per gallon. On the city side of town it runs 249 ppm, about 14.5 grains. Softer water is real and it helps, but the ground here takes back some of what the tap gives you.

Heaters throwing codes

Hard water is rough on heaters, and a code on the panel is how yours tells you. When one comes up, we find out what it means and fix what has actually failed rather than guessing. Pool heater repair.

Pumps and seals

A pump that has started dripping at the seal or gotten loud is worth a look. Caught early it's usually a seal rather than a motor. Pool pump repair.

Filters load up fast

Between the water and everything the trees drop, your filter works harder here than the manual planned for. Filter cleaning and filter repair.

Three neighborhoods on the same ground

Oakcreek runs along Oaklands Drive and Quail Lane, The Oaklands sits east of it around Oakwood Boulevard, and Park Valley Oaks fills in south along Park Valley Drive by St David's Round Rock Medical Center. Three names, one pocket, and from a pool's point of view one set of answers. All three are Williamson County, and we treat them as one stop.

The county has plats here from 1999 and 2000, and the lots are larger than the builder subdivisions further out. Bigger yards, older trees, and pools that went in across a couple of decades rather than all at once.

EVERY PART OF OAKCREEK

Pool cleaning service across Oakcreek, The Oaklands and Park Valley Oaks

What your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.

Oakcreek

Along Oaklands Drive and Quail Lane, with Falcon Drive and Field Lark Drive running off them. Mature trees and the most shade of the three.

The Oaklands

East around Oakwood Boulevard and Oak Park Drive, closest to Brushy Creek. The creek side is where the heaviest leaf load lands.

Park Valley Oaks

South along Park Valley Drive by St David's Round Rock Medical Center. Quick in and out from RM 620.

Toward Stone Canyon

West a mile, where the ground turns rocky and stops moving. Pool service in Stone Canyon.

SALT CONVERSION

Switching to salt, starting at $2,200

Plenty of the older pools out here are still on tablets. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Text us and we'll come out and look at your setup. That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.

THE GROUND UNDER OAKCREEK

Why the ground near Fern Bluff Park matters

This is Crawford clay running about 50 percent, which is the heaviest ground we work on anywhere, sitting at roughly 787 feet. Clay that heavy swells when it rains and shrinks back when it dries, so it's never quite still under your deck.

Runoff is rated very high on top of that. A real storm moves fast across the yard and drops what it carries straight into the pool. Between the movement and the runoff, the equipment pad and the plumbing get more attention here than they would three streets east on lighter ground.

HOW WE GET TO YOU

Swimming pool repair in Oakcreek and The Oaklands

We come out on Round Rock Avenue and pick up RM 620, which runs along the south side of all three neighborhoods. It's a clean route with good road the whole way, and we're on this corridor weekly.

The junctions people navigate by here are all on the I-35 side: North Interstate 35 at Palm Valley Boulevard, at Sam Bass Road and at Round Rock Avenue, with Palm Valley Boulevard at Sam Bass Road just past them. From RM 620 it's a short run in on Oaklands Drive, Oakwood Boulevard or Park Valley Drive depending which end you're on.

St David's Round Rock Medical Center sits right against Park Valley Oaks. The Point At 620 is about six tenths of a mile out, Veterans Memorial Park and Creekmont West Park are both under a mile, and Fern Bluff Park is a mile west.

Licensed, insured, and in Round Rock every week

The other thing worth knowing is that we answer. Text us or call and you get a person, not a queue and not a form that disappears. We're at it Monday through Friday, 8 to 8, and we read every message that comes in, so if something is wrong with your pool the fastest thing you can do is send us a note about it. Photos help, but they're not required.

QUESTIONS

Oakcreek pool questions

Do you cover all three neighborhoods?
Yes, and we run them as one stop. Oakcreek, The Oaklands and Park Valley Oaks sit together off RM 620 on the same water and the same heavy clay, so what one pool needs is usually what the next one needs.
My deck keeps cracking. Is that the ground?
Very likely. This is Crawford clay at about 50 percent, the heaviest we work on. It swells when it rains and shrinks when it dries, and over years that's hard on decks, on rigid plumbing and on anything bolted to a pad. We look at the pad and the lines here, not just the water.
Is my water different from the rest of Round Rock?
Yes. Most homes here are on Brushy Creek MUD water, at about 183 parts per million, roughly 10.7 grains per gallon, while the city side runs 249 ppm, about 14.5 grains per gallon. That's easier on a salt cell and a heater. It changes the balance rather than removing the work.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so. We're on the RM 620 run every week, so coming back is easy.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page.

We're around Oakcreek most weeks anyway.
