Pool repair near Forest Creek, Round Rock, TX

We're right here in the neighborhood, off Red Bud Lane by Highway 79. A few minutes from Harvey Penick and Wilderness Way. So when your pump starts making that noise on a Tuesday, you're not waiting on somebody to drive over from across town.

HARD WATER AND HIGH LIME

What Forest Creek pools are up against

Round Rock city water is hard. About 249 parts per million, roughly 14.5 grains per gallon, which is a lot. That one thing is rougher on your equipment than anything else out here.

Scale creeping into a heater, a salt cell that stops producing early, a chalk line on the tile that won't brush off. Those are the calls from these streets, and they trace back to the water.

Heaters and hard water

Round Rock water is hard, and a heater shows it first. When yours throws a code we read what it means and fix the part that has failed. Pool heater repair.

Second and third pumps

Forest Creek has a lot of established pools, and equipment pads here vary street to street. A drip at the seal or a new noise is worth a call either way. Pool pump repair.

Oak leaves, twice a year

The live oaks along the course drop in February and March, not autumn, and the cedar pollen lands on top of it. Your filter takes that. Filter cleaning.

FOREST CREEK, 78664

The neighborhood we call home, wrapped around Forest Creek Golf Club

Forest Creek wraps around the golf course, and the pools here show it. Big back yards, old live oaks hanging over most of them, and a lot of houses where the pool came with the place. The neighborhood went in a piece at a time between 1996 and 2013. So you can walk two streets over and go from a pool built in the nineties and on its second pump to one that's barely ten and about to need its first salt cell. It's Williamson County, and it's the neighborhood we work out of, so we're on these streets constantly.

We're out here every week anyway, so the drive is never the reason something sits. Check the calendar for what's open, we often have same-day availability, or text us if that's your preference. Whether you're by Forest Creek Park or backed up to the course off Harvey Penick, we're minutes away.

EVERY PART OF FOREST CREEK

Pool cleaning service across Forest Creek

The neighborhood went in over roughly seventeen years, so what your pool needs depends a lot on which streets you're on.

The golf course streets

Harvey Penick Drive, Wilderness Way and the lots backing onto Forest Creek Golf Club. These are the oldest pools here, and the oaks along the fairways mean more leaf work than anywhere else in the neighborhood.

North toward Gattis School Road

The newer phases along Forest Creek Drive. Equipment out this way is younger, so the work is usually a first salt cell rather than a second pump.

Along Red Bud Lane

The streets nearest our shop, running south toward Old Settlers Boulevard. If you're on this stretch we're often already a few minutes away.

Toward Lake Forest and Sonoma

Where Forest Creek runs into Lake Forest Park and Sonoma Lake on the west side. Pool service in Sonoma.

SALT CONVERSION

Switching to salt, starting at $2,200

Plenty of pools here are still on tablets. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and with water this hard the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Text us and we'll come out and look at your setup. That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.

THE GROUND UNDER FOREST CREEK

Why the chalky ground along Brushy Creek matters to your pool

The dirt under Forest Creek is chalky and full of lime, and it's about a third to half clay. Clay doesn't soak up rain well, so when we get a real storm the water runs off fast and carries grit with it. Some of that ends up in your pool.

So two things. Your skimmer baskets and filter take a beating after a big rain. And that lime isn't just in your tap water, it's in the ground the whole neighborhood sits on. The CDC has a plain guide on why balanced water matters for your family, not just your equipment. We can help you keep the water right with our water care program. We can also just take the pool off your hands entirely with our weekly cleaning service.

HOW WE GET TO YOU

Swimming pool repair in Forest Creek, Round Rock

Our shop is off Red Bud Lane near Highway 79, which puts us inside the neighborhood rather than across town from it. Forest Creek Golf Club sits about a third of a mile from the pad, and Forest Creek Park is under half a mile. For most of the streets here the drive is short enough that traffic never really decides our day.

Once we turn in, the neighborhood splits three ways. Harvey Penick Drive and Wilderness Way run along the golf course and pick up the oldest sections, where the pools date to the first phases and the equipment has usually been replaced at least once. Forest Creek Drive carries north toward Gattis School Road and the newer streets. And Red Bud runs south to Old Settlers Boulevard and A W Grimes Boulevard, which is the stretch that connects us to Sonoma, Lake Forest Park and the rest of our Round Rock route.

The wider landmarks are close too, which matters more than it sounds: Old Settlers Park, Dell Diamond, Kalahari Resorts and Rock'N River Water Park are all inside a couple of miles, and the Brushy Creek Trail passes about a mile west. We work this corridor every week, so a Forest Creek call is rarely a special trip for us.

WHO SHOWS UP

Licensed, insured, and in Round Rock every week

True Flow is a veteran owned, family run pool company based right here in Round Rock, not a franchise with a call center in another state. We're licensed in Texas for residential appliance installation, which is what covers pool equipment electrical work, and we carry insurance on every job. We live in Forest Creek, so the pool we're coming to is usually a few streets from ours.

The other thing worth knowing is that we answer. Text us or call and you get a person, not a queue and not a form that disappears. We're at it Monday through Friday, 8 to 8, and we read every message that comes in, so if something is wrong with your pool the fastest thing you can do is send us a note about it. Photos help, but they're not required.

QUESTIONS

Questions from Forest Creek pool owners

How quickly can you get here?
Faster than anywhere else we serve, because we're based here. Our shop is off Red Bud Lane near the highway, inside the neighborhood. Most Forest Creek streets are a few minutes away ; check the calendar on this page for what's open, we often have same-day availability. We text when we're on the way.
How does the water out here affect my salt cell and heater?
City of Round Rock water runs about 14.5 grains per gallon, which is very hard. That lime builds up on salt cell blades and shortens their life, and it's hard on heaters too. Forest Creek also sits on Austin and Eddy soils over chalk, so the ground is high in lime too.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 cartridge or $169 DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page. Same prices in Forest Creek as everywhere else we go.
Do you work on the older Forest Creek sections too?
Yes. Forest Creek platted between 1996 and 2013, so pools here run from nearly thirty years to ten or less. The older sections are at the age where pumps, heaters and plumbing start failing in earnest. We repair both old and newer equipment every week.

We're over by Dell Diamond most weeks anyway.

Want us to swing by your pool? Text us your address and what's going on. We'll figure out what it needs and what the fix costs. Then we make sure you're happy with it.
