Star Ranch is a mile and a half from our shop in Forest Creek, straight out Gattis School Road. Golf course lots, big back yards, and ground that moves more than most of Round Rock. We know what that does to a pool.
This is the one part of our route where the ground itself is the bigger problem. Star Ranch sits on deep black clay that swells when it rains and shrinks when it doesn't.
Black clay moves with the seasons, and your equipment pad moves with it. That strains stiff plumbing and pump seals. A pump that's started dripping at the seal is worth a look out here. Pool pump repair.
Hard water is tough on heaters. When yours throws a code, we read what it's actually telling us, then repair or replace what's needed once you've said go. Pool heater repair.
Clay doesn't soak up rain. When we get a real storm the water runs off fast and brings grit with it, and a lot of that ends up in your skimmer and filter. Filter cleaning.
Star Ranch wraps around the golf club, and the pools follow the fairways. The neighborhood went in between 2003 and 2023, so the older sections are hitting the age where the first real equipment failures show up while the newest streets still have everything original. It's Williamson County, over on the Hutto side.
We cover the Parcel sections, the Estates at Star Ranch, and the streets off Muirfield Bend and Danish Drive. SH-130 runs right along the edge, so getting out here's quick no matter which end of the day it's.
Text Us About Your PoolBetween the clay washing down after storms and a long hot season, water here drifts out of balance faster than owners expect. We test every visit rather than dosing to a recipe.

$189, covering three visits. If it went green while you were away, we can usually bring it back without draining it. The $189 covers all three, which is usually enough to turn it around. Green pool cleanup.

Brushing and skimming every visit. Baskets, filter and a water test too. $249.
Water care on a subscription, so the chemistry is somebody else's job. $119.
An hour with us so you can run the pool yourself. $189.
A DE filter stripped, cleaned and recharged. $169.
A pool inspection is $329. We check the pump, filter, heater, salt system, automation, plumbing, lights, water features, surfaces and more. You get a written report with photos the same day. Pools here were built anywhere from 2003 to 2023, and on ground that moves this much, the plumbing and the pad are worth a proper look before you close.
Schedule a Pool InspectionThe older Star Ranch sections still have a lot of tablet pools. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and with water this hard the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Text us and we'll come out and look at your setup. That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.
Star Ranch sits on some of the heaviest clay on our whole route, running 45 to 54 percent clay in the topsoil. That's the black prairie ground this side of the county is known for, and it genuinely moves through the year.
Two things follow from that. Cracked decking and shifted equipment pads are more common here than a few miles west, and after a heavy rain the runoff is rated high to very high, so your filter takes a beating. If you'd rather not track all of it, weekly cleaning covers it.
Star Ranch is about a mile and three quarters from the shop, usually seven minutes. Highway 79 takes us straight east and the Golf Club at Star Ranch is the landmark everything here's measured from, about four tenths of a mile from the middle of the neighborhood.
Once we turn off 79 the neighborhood opens up fast. Kaatz Lane runs along the north side toward Hutto Lake Park and Hutto Lake, and the fairway-backing lots sit south of it. Forest Creek Golf Club is a mile back west, which is the direction we come from.
Because the drive is a straight shot with no highway changes, traffic on 79 is the only variable, and it only matters at the two rush hours. Old Settlers Park, Dell Diamond and Kalahari Resorts sit a few minutes back west along Highway 79, and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail runs the same direction.
What your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.
Backing onto the Golf Club at Star Ranch. Open, breezy, and the most windblown debris of anywhere here, which shows up first in the filter.
The streets running up toward Hutto Lake Park and Hutto Lake. Newer sections with newer equipment.
The first phases, where pools are old enough that the pad has usually been worked on at least once.

True Flow is a veteran owned, family run pool company based right here in Round Rock, not a franchise with a call center in another state. We're licensed in Texas for residential appliance installation, which is what covers pool equipment electrical work, and we carry insurance on every job. Star Ranch is a straight shot east on the highway, about seven minutes from us.
The other thing worth knowing is that we answer. Text us or call and you get a person, not a queue and not a form that disappears. We're at it Monday through Friday, 8 to 8, and we read every message that comes in, so if something is wrong with your pool the fastest thing you can do is send us a note about it. Photos help, but they're not required.
