Pool repair near Salerno, Round Rock, TX

Salerno is a newer neighborhood and still filling in, so a lot of these pools have only been operating a few years. We come up County Road 110 off University Boulevard.

NEW POOLS, HARD WATER

What Salerno pools are up against

Round Rock water runs about 14.5 grains per gallon. On a new pool that's the only real adversary, and it works slowly enough that nobody notices until something stops.

The first salt cell

Hard water leaves a crust on the cell blades, so it stops making chlorine long before it should have worn out. Clean it on time and it's cheap. Skip it and you're buying a new one. Salt cell cleaning and salt system repair.

Heater scale starts early

Hard water is tough on heaters. When yours throws a code, we read what it's actually telling us, then repair or replace what's needed once you've said go. Pool heater repair.

Pumps under warranty

On a pool this new, it's worth checking the warranty before anyone talks about replacing a pump. We'll tell you when that's the case. Pool pump repair.

The neighborhood still going in, north of Paloma Lake

Salerno has been platting in phases since 2018 and is still going, which makes it one of the youngest neighborhoods on our route. Most pools here are under six years old and a fair number are under three. It's Williamson County, and it's one of the newest neighborhoods on our route.

That means the work looks different from the rest of Round Rock. Very little is worn out. What we do see is equipment quietly being shortened by hard water while everyone assumes a new pool takes care of itself.

Salerno Basketball Court sits inside the neighborhood, and the pools on the streets around it are some of the newest we look after.

EVERY PART OF SALERNO

Pool cleaning service across Salerno

What your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.

The newest phases

Platted through 2024, where the pad is entirely original and nothing has had time to wear.

Toward Siena North Park

The southern streets closest to the park and the quickest for us to reach.

The high side

The most exposed streets, and where water comes off the ground fastest after a storm.

Toward Paloma Lake

The eastern edge running that way. Pool service in Paloma Lake continues from there.

THE GROUND UNDER SALERNO

Why the ground off County Road 110 matters to your pool

Salerno sits on chalky, lime-heavy ground at about 41 percent clay, up at roughly 800 feet, and runoff here's rated very high. That's the highest runoff rating anywhere on our Round Rock route.

On a neighborhood still under construction that matters more than it normally would. Bare lots and unfinished landscaping mean loose soil, and very high runoff moves it fast when a storm comes through. Filters fill sooner here than the manual expects. Filter cleaning on schedule is the whole answer.

HOW WE GET TO YOU

Swimming pool repair in Salerno

Salerno is about five and a quarter miles from the shop, roughly sixteen minutes. Siena North Park is a mile out and Paloma Lake is a mile and a half, which are the two landmarks most people here navigate by.

Highway 79 and Red Bud Lane carry us most of the way and County Road 104 brings us in the last stretch. Wrench Lake sits about two miles west.

Salerno is still filling in, so the streets change from one season to the next. Old Settlers Park, Dell Diamond and Kalahari Resorts sit back southwest along Highway 79, which is most of our drive out.

QUESTIONS

Questions from Salerno pool owners

Do you service pools in Salerno?
Yes. It's about five miles from our shop, up County Road 110 off University Boulevard, and we're out this way every week. Check the calendar for what's open, we often have same-day availability, or text us if that's your preference.
My pool is nearly new. What actually needs doing?
Not much yet, and that's the point. Keeping the water balanced and cleaning the salt cell on schedule are the two things that decide whether your equipment reaches the age it was built for. Neither is expensive. Replacing a cell that failed early is.
There's still construction around us. Does that affect the pool?
Yes, more than people expect. Dust and wind-blown grit settle on the water, and disturbed soil washes in when it rains. Salerno also has the highest runoff rating on our route, so storms move soil fast here. It mostly shows up as a filter needing attention sooner.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page. Same prices up in Salerno as everywhere else on our route.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so. We're up this way most weeks, so a return visit isn't a trip.

We're up past Old Settlers Park most weeks anyway.

Want us to swing by your pool? Text us your address and what's going on. We'll figure out what it needs and what the fix costs. Then we make sure you're happy with it.
