Paloma Lake is built around the water, and the pools here are newer than most of Round Rock. That changes what goes wrong: less worn-out equipment, more scale and first-time salt cell replacements.
When the equipment is newish, hard water isn't competing with old age. It's the whole problem, and it works quietly until something stops.
Hard water leaves a crust on the cell blades, so it stops making chlorine long before it should have worn out. Clean it on time and it's cheap. Skip it and you're buying a new one. Salt cell cleaning and salt system repair.
Hard water is tough on heaters. When yours throws a code, we read what it's actually telling us, then repair or replace what's needed once you've said go. Pool heater repair.
On a ten year old pool, scale on the waterline tile is often the first thing an owner notices. It's easier to stay ahead of than to remove. Water care.
Paloma Lake went in between 2007 and 2019, so almost every pool here's somewhere between five and eighteen years old. That's a genuinely different service picture from the older parts of Round Rock. The equipment is usually fine. What isn't fine is what the water has been doing to it quietly. It's Williamson County, and a newer pool here still needs eyes on it.
The lake itself sits in the middle of the neighborhood and the Multipurpose Complex is a short drive west. We come up Red Bud Lane or across Old Settlers depending on where we're finishing.
Text Us About Your PoolNewer pools are easy to neglect because nothing looks wrong for a long time. Then a salt cell fails early and it's a surprise. Weekly testing is what prevents that.
$249 a month. We come every week and check the water and the equipment. You get a summary of what we found and how the pool looked. Weekly pool cleaning.
$189, covering three visits. If it went green while you were away, we can usually bring it back without draining it. The $189 covers all three, which is usually enough to turn it around. Green pool cleanup.

Brushing and skimming every visit. Baskets, filter and a water test too. $249.
Water care on a subscription, so the chemistry is somebody else's job. $119.
An hour with us so you can run the pool yourself. $189.
A DE filter stripped, cleaned and recharged. $169.
A pool inspection is $329. We check the pump, filter, heater, salt system, automation, plumbing, lights, water features, surfaces and more. You get a written report with photos the same day. Even on a ten year old pool it's worth knowing whether the salt cell and heater have been maintained or just left alone.
Schedule a Pool InspectionPaloma Lake sits on chalky, lime-heavy ground running about a third to 40 percent clay, at roughly 710 to 730 feet. Runoff varies across the neighborhood from moderate to very high depending which side of the lake you're on.
On the high-runoff streets a heavy storm moves water and grit fast, so filters fill sooner. And the lime in the ground is the same lime in your water, which is why scale is the recurring theme on an otherwise young neighborhood. Weekly cleaning is the simplest way to keep on top of it.
Paloma Lake is about five miles from the shop, roughly nine minutes. The lake it's named for sits at the center of the neighborhood, and Siena North Park is a third of a mile off the north edge.
Red Bud Lane and Highway 79 take us most of the way, then County roads carry us the last stretch. Old Settlers Park and the ball complexes are a mile and a half back southwest, which is the direction we come from.
Which side of the lake you're on genuinely changes the job, because the runoff and the wind exposure are different from one shore to the other. Old Settlers Park, Dell Diamond and Kalahari Resorts sit back down Highway 79 toward Round Rock, along the corridor we drive in on.
What your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.
Directly on Paloma Lake. More wind across the water and more debris than the interior streets get.
Toward Siena North Park, where the newer phases sit and most equipment is still original.
Sheltered from the lake wind, and generally the easiest pools here to keep steady.
The eastern edge running into Siena. Pool service in Siena picks up from there.
Paloma Lake is on the same run as several places we service.
South down Red Bud Lane. Pool service in the Estates at Settlers Park.
South along Old Settlers. Pool service in Pioneer Crossing.
Every neighborhood, every zip. Pool service in Round Rock.
