Pool repair near Sendero Springs, Round Rock, TX

Sendero Springs and Brushy Creek North sit on softer water than most of Round Rock. That changes what your equipment needs.

SOFTER WATER, DIFFERENT PROBLEMS

What Sendero Springs and Brushy Creek North pools are up against

Most homes here are on Brushy Creek MUD water, which runs about 183 parts per million or roughly 10.7 grains per gallon. On the city side of town it's 249 parts per million. Yours is meaningfully softer, and most pool companies out here assume otherwise.

Softer water, different balance

Your water is gentler on a salt cell than the city's, which is good news. It also sits differently on your chemistry, so the dosing that works two miles east isn't the dosing that works here. Water care.

Pumps across two build eras

Sendero Springs pools went in between 2004 and 2013. Brushy Creek North is older. Whether the pump on your pad is original tells you most of what you need to know. Pool pump repair.

Storm grit on the north side

On the Brushy Creek North side the ground sheds water fast, so a storm puts grit in the pool while it's still raining. That lands in the filter. Filter cleaning.

Two neighborhoods on one corridor

Sendero Springs and Brushy Creek North sit less than half a mile apart off East Whitestone Boulevard, which everyone here calls RM 1431. They're neighbors rather than one place. Different build years, and as it turns out different ground. Both are Williamson County addresses.

Sendero Springs went in between 2004 and 2013. Brushy Creek North is older, closer to the mid nineties. That fifteen year gap shows up on the equipment pad more than anywhere else.

Worth clearing up, because locals already know it. Brushy Creek North isn't on Brushy Creek. The creek is three miles south. The water nearest you is Dry Fork Creek, about a mile out.

Sendero Springs Park sits inside the neighborhood, and the pools around it mostly date to that 2004 to 2013 stretch.

EVERY PART OF SENDERO SPRINGS

Pool cleaning service across Sendero Springs and Brushy Creek North

What your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.

Sendero Springs

Built 2004 to 2013 on heavier Eckrant clay. Newer equipment, and the streets nearest the creek corridor drain hard after a storm.

Brushy Creek North

Older and higher, on lighter Georgetown soil with very high runoff. North Park is its front door, a third of a mile away.

Along Whitestone

The RM 1431 frontage both neighborhoods hang off. If you're on this stretch we're already going past you.

Toward Walsh Lake

The western streets running out toward Walsh Lake and the trail. More open, more wind on the water.

SALT CONVERSION

Switching to salt, starting at $2,200

The older Brushy Creek North pools are often still on tablets. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Text us and we'll come out and look at your setup. That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.

THE GROUND UNDER SENDERO SPRINGS

Why the ground under Sendero Springs matters

The two neighborhoods don't share ground, and it's worth knowing which side you're on. Sendero Springs sits on Eckrant stony clay at about 42 percent clay, at roughly 820 feet, with runoff rated medium.

Brushy Creek North sits higher at about 853 feet on Georgetown stony clay loam, lighter at 30 percent clay, but with runoff rated very high. Thin soil over limestone means rain reaches rock fast and arrives in your pool during the storm rather than after it. On the Sendero Springs side the ground follows the creek corridor, so some yards drain harder after a storm than others.

HOW WE GET TO YOU

Swimming pool repair in Sendero Springs and Brushy Creek North

We come across on West Old Settlers Boulevard and pick up Sam Bass Road, then out to East Whitestone. The corner of Sam Bass Road and West Old Settlers Boulevard is the junction the whole west side runs through, and we're on it every week.

Once we're on RM 1431 the turns are simple. East Whitestone at Sendero Springs Drive puts us in one neighborhood, Whitestone at Mayfield Ranch Boulevard puts us in the other, and Raley Road marks the western edge. Behrens Parkway crosses between them.

North Park sits a third of a mile off Brushy Creek North, with Walsh Ranch Park just past it. Walsh Lake is about a mile and a half out, and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail runs the same direction.

QUESTIONS

Sendero Springs pool questions

Do you cover both Sendero Springs and Brushy Creek North?
Yes, and we run them as one stop. They sit less than half a mile apart off Whitestone and share the same water. We do treat them separately on the ground, because the soil and the build years genuinely differ.
Is my water really different from the rest of Round Rock?
Yes. Most homes here are on Brushy Creek MUD water, at about 183 parts per million, roughly 10.7 grains per gallon. On the city side of town it's 249 ppm, about 14.5 grains per gallon. Softer water is easier on a salt cell and a heater, but it shifts the chemistry balance, so it isn't simply a matter of doing less.
Why does my pool cloud up during a storm and my friend's doesn't?
If you're on the Brushy Creek North side, the soil is thin over limestone and runoff is rated very high. Rain reaches rock almost straight away and arrives in the pool while it's still raining, carrying grit with it. On the Sendero Springs side the clay is heavier and it comes slower.
What does it cost?
A Repair Diagnostic is $149 total. You pay $74.50 when you book to cover the technician's visit. If you approve the repair, that $74.50 comes right off your bill, so the diagnostic costs you nothing. You only pay the other $74.50 if you decide not to move forward. Weekly cleaning is $249 a month. Salt cell cleaning is $99. Filter cleaning is $129 for cartridge or $169 for DE. Green pool cleanup is $189. Pool inspection is $329. Full numbers on the pricing page.
What happens on the day of a repair visit?
We text before we head over. You don't need to be home as long as we can reach the equipment pad and the gate is unlocked. We diagnose and explain what we found in plain words. You get the price before any repair starts. Nothing gets replaced without your say-so. We're on the Whitestone run every week, so coming back is easy.

We're around Sendero Springs most weeks anyway.

Want us to swing by your pool? Text us your address and what's going on. We'll figure out what it needs and what the fix costs. Then we make sure you're happy with it.
