Stone Canyon and Fern Bluff run along the Brushy Creek trail system, with nine parks inside a mile. All that tree cover ends up in your skimmer, and the water here's softer than most of Round Rock.
Most pool companies assume every Round Rock pool is on city water. Stone Canyon isn't. Because it sits in Brushy Creek, you're on Brushy Creek MUD water at about 183 parts per million, roughly 10.7 grains per gallon rather than 14. That's softer, and it changes what your equipment needs.
Most of this area is on Brushy Creek MUD rather than city water. Easier on a cell and a heater, but the balance sits differently, so the dosing isn't the same. Water care.
Seven parks inside three quarters of a mile means more landing on your water than an open lot across town ever gets. Weekly cleaning.
Stone Canyon built out from 1996 to 2015, so two pools a few streets apart can need completely different things. Equipment diagnostics.
Stone Canyon sits in the Brushy Creek community on the west edge of Round Rock, which is why the water and the addresses here work a little differently from the rest of town. It was platted in sections between 1996 and 2015, so the range is wide. Some streets have pools close to thirty years old. Others are barely ten. Fern Bluff sits right against it, and there are more parks within half a mile than anywhere else on our route. It's still Williamson County like the rest of Round Rock, the water just comes from somewhere else.
Brightwater Park, Cheatham Park, Shirley McDonald Park, Creekside Park and Fern Bluff Park are all within two thirds of a mile, along with the Fern Bluff MUD Community Center. It's a green neighborhood, and that shows up in the skimmer.
Text Us About Your PoolFive parks sit inside two thirds of a mile, and Brushy Creek runs nearby. That puts more on your water than an open lot across town ever gets.
$249 a month. We come every week and check the water and the equipment. You get a summary of what we found and how the pool looked. Weekly pool cleaning.
$189, covering three visits. If it went green while you were away, we can usually bring it back without draining it. The $189 covers all three, which is usually enough to turn it around. Green pool cleanup.
$129. Good before company comes, or if you just want to see how we work before signing up for weekly. One-time cleaning.
Brushing and skimming every visit. Baskets, filter and a water test too. $249.
Three visits to bring a pool back without draining it. $189.
A single visit, good before company comes. $129.
A cartridge filter stripped, cleaned and put back right. $129.
A pool inspection is $329. Stone Canyon and Fern Bluff built out across nearly twenty years on Brushy Creek MUD water, so no two pools here are in the same shape. We go through the equipment and the pool itself, surfaces, lights and any signs of cracking or wear included. You get a written report with photos the same day.
Schedule a Pool InspectionWhat your pool needs here depends a good deal on which streets you're on.
The original streets, where the pump and the salt cell have usually been replaced at least once.
The western edge running into Fern Bluff, closest to the community center and the parks.
Backing onto Brightwater, Cheatham, Creekside or Shirley McDonald Park. The most greenery and the most debris.
Streets platted closer to 2015, where most of the pad is still original equipment.
The older Stone Canyon sections still have plenty of tablet pools. Salt is easier to live with and gentler on the water, and the cell needs cleaning on schedule either way. Text us and we'll come out and look at your setup. That visit is free: a conversion has to be priced off the equipment you actually have, so we see it first, then send you a written quote.
Stone Canyon sits on Eckrant soil, about 42 percent clay, shallow over limestone at roughly 807 feet. That's the high side of Round Rock, and there's rock in every yard.
Shallow soil over limestone doesn't move much through the year, so pads here stay level. Runoff is moderate. The work here's about the trees and the water, not about the ground shifting.
Stone Canyon is about seven miles from our shop at Forest Creek Drive and Red Bud Lane, usually around seventeen minutes. We take Old Settlers Boulevard west into the creek and pick up Sam Bass Road rather than sitting on I-35.
Once we're in, Fern Bluff is a tenth of a mile away and the parks come thick. Brightwater Park and Cheatham Park sit at three tenths of a mile, with Fern Bluff Park just past them.
Sam Bass Road and West Old Settlers Boulevard meet just under a mile out, which is the junction the whole west side hangs off.
Fern Bluff runs right into Stone Canyon on the same Brushy Creek MUD water and the same shallow stony clay over limestone. We treat the two as one stop, because from a pool's point of view they're one place.
What stands out here's the parks. Nine of them sit within a mile, along with Fern Bluff Park and the Fern Bluff MUD Community Center. Only Cat Hollow and Great Oaks carry more, and anyone here knows what that much tree cover does to a skimmer basket.
The Point At 620 and the Oak Brook Trail sit just past them, with Hairy Man Road running east. If you're anywhere along there, we're already going by.
East past Walsh Ranch Park. Pool service in Behrens Ranch.
Northeast along Old Settlers. Pool service in Hidden Glen.
East along Sam Bass. Pool service in The Plantation.
Every neighborhood, every zip. Pool service in Round Rock.
True Flow is a veteran owned, family run pool company based right here in Round Rock, not a franchise with a call center in another state. We're licensed in Texas for residential appliance installation, which is what covers pool equipment electrical work, and we carry insurance on every job. Stone Canyon is about seventeen minutes out, and we're on the west side every week.
The other thing worth knowing is that we answer. Text us or call and you get a person, not a queue and not a form that disappears. We're at it Monday through Friday, 8 to 8, and Saturday mornings, and we read every message that comes in, so if something is wrong with your pool the fastest thing you can do is send us a note about it. Photos help, but they're not required.
This books our $149 on-site diagnostic, the visit we start with for any equipment problem. Half is due when you schedule, and it comes off the repair if you go ahead. Looking for weekly cleaning or something else? See all pool services.
